Texting a landline number or a company etc. is considered special numbers and charged 0.90₪. As we usually don’t text landlines, these SMS are mostly answers you reply to such as ads, government SMS etc. In fact, they use landline numbers for these kind of campaigns. Be sure the contact is saved in the +1 format such as: +1-323-555-4444. Then, delete all existing text messages with the contact you are trying to text. After that, compose a brand new message.

Unfortunately, banks use short codes. These systems are usually able to find out if the number is really assigned to a local US sim card and won’t send the codes to numbers that are not. We recommend asking the confirmation code be sent through a voice call or to your email address whenever possible. There are public websites that some choose to use to receive confirmation codes, but we are not affiliated with them.
